First Snow Essentials

Winter has finally arrived and has brought us some snow! But you might be thinking,“what do I wear?!” Well luckily for you, I can help!

First thing you are going to want is layers; and more layers, and more layers. Layering is a very trendy way to stay warm and look great at the same time. Try layering a black or grey turtleneck, and throwing a sweater over that. It will keep your neck warm while giving you a very stylish look. Also try taking a long-sleeved tee under a bomber jacket and throwing on a top coat. These layers will keep you warm and give you a street-style look.

Second thing you will want is warm accessories; such as gloves, scarves, and socks. Get a nice pair of leather, insulated gloves that match your coat. So if you have a black coat, get black gloves, and if you have a brown coat, get brown gloves.

Scarves are a great way to add some style to your look and keep you warm. Try getting some neutral colored scarves, like the one above, and tying them in different ways. The one above is very long and I like to wrap it around my neck several times. It keeps my neck warm and looks great with other neutral colored clothing. Scarves are also a great way to add some color to a basic look so don’t be afraid to get poppy colors and patterns.

Socks are a nessecity in this weather. So get some heavy socks and layer up! If you don’t like the way the heavy socks look, take another pair that you do like and slip them over top. You get warmth and style at the same time!

And last but not least; nice winter boots. Everyone needs a good pair of winter boots. The ones shown above have a great outside and have lots of traction, which makes them great for snow and ice. I really like these boots because of the suede detailing on the sides. It breaks up the leather and adds a little more demention to the shoes.

Well, thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to write about, I would love to hear what you want to know about. Be sure to check back for new posts coming next week!

Stay safe and stay warm,

C.
